So today I’m going to be writing about how to get motivated and productive when your having one of those days when you are struggling to get things done. The other day I was making a list of things to help get you into a productive mood and thought it would be a good idea to share some ideas 😊
•Go for a walk
I find that going on a walk really helps if you are feeling unproductive. Even if it’s just a walk around the garden, the fresh air gives you time to think about the things you need to get done. For example if you had homework, go outside and think about how you are going to get it done and then when you come back inside you can get on with your jobs 💕
Listen to music
I love finding new playlists and music to listen to especially when I’m trying to get motivated. I makes me in a much better mood and time goes a lot quicker if you are playing your favourite songs whilst doing jobs. What I also loveee to do is to search up a playlist made for what you are doing. So if you need to do a work out if you search up ‘work out mix’ or something along those lines, there will be a huge list of songs purposely put together for that ❣️
Turn off your phone
This happens to me alllll the time where I’ll be about to turn off my phone and do some revision or something and I’ll get a notification, so I go on that app and get sidetracked for another hour. But I find it a lot easier if you put you phone on silent and put it on a shelf or somewhere you can’t just easily reach it and get distracted again. This way you can do your jobs or whatever it is you need to do without social media distracting you 😂💖
Ive recently been doing stretches/yoga before breakfast in the morning just to wake me up and get me ready for the day and I actually really love doing it! But it doesn’t have to be in the morning, if you do a few stretches before doing the jobs it really helps the blood flow to your brain ( I think I’m not a scientist 😂) making it easier to focus and pay attention.
Think about your jobs
I know it may sound weird but when you first think about everything you need to get done you want to do anything you can to avoid it but I find the more you think it through and think about how you are going to do it, the idea of it isn’t so bad. I don’t know if that makes any sense but I really think it works 😂💓
