My First blog post!

So this is my new blog! I’m honestly so excited to try this out and test to see if I enjoy it or if I should stick to insagram. I’m really new to this app and don’t have a clue how it works but I’ll give it my best and we can see how it goes!

so the things that I want to post is a mixture of photography, beauty and maybe a bit of fashion. I will also do things like book reviews , hauls and routines ( skin routines etc) so there is a variety of everything depending on what you enjoy reading about most.

lastly, I’m doing this for fun so if I don’t feel like I’m enjoying myself and feel like it’s a chore then I will stop or take a break from it as I want this as a fun hobby not a job.

Anyway now all that is out the way, I hope you enjoy my blog and will see you soon

This years goals

Hiiiii everyone! I decided to make a post today about what I want to accomplish whilst I’m 16. I had my birthday nearly a month ago and I was going to write this then but year 11 is a lot busier and stressful then I thought it was going be so I’m only just managing to sit and write this now ❀️

Age 15

Sooo first I’m just going to go through year 10 and the things I’m proud of when I was 15! To start off with me and a friend went to London with school for one night and that might not sound like long but for me it was a big thing and I was close to not going. I live about 4 hours away from London and before the trip I had only ever gone once before, but it was such a good experience! Me and my friend made loads of great memories and I’m so happy I went.

I also started two new dances in my dance school and I’m one of these I have already completed my grade 1 so I’m really proud of myself with those.

This year

Okkkk so this year is a big year for me. I’m obviously going to be doing my GCSEs next summer which is terrifying πŸ˜‚. But seeing as this post is all about setting goals I’m just going to try my hardest to pass these exams. Realistically I’m aiming for 5s,6s and maybe a 7. I also am going to make a revision schedule and stick to it because I’m the past when I’ve made them I’ve completely forgotten about it 😬.

So another goal this year is to try and not hold back from things. If you know me well you probably know that I am probably the shyest person ever and I overthink things waaay to much. So I basically just want to work on being more confident and not missing out on experiences 😊.

Okay okay so this next one isn’t very exciting but I want to try and experiment with different styles of clothing. I’m soooo bored of dressing in basic clothes but when I see something I like I usually don’t buy it because of what people might think if I wear it. So I really just want to work on that and being more comfortable in clothes I like πŸ’•.

Lastly I want to carry on with photography, my Instagram account and this blog because I absolutely love this community and literally never want to leave πŸ˜‚.

Thank you so much for reading even if it was a bit boring and let me know if you have any goals that you are proud of accomplishing ❣️

It’s Autumn! ( plus a life update)

Hi everyone! So. It’s officially autumn! I mean it was yesterday but I was really really busy yesterday so I’m posting today instead 😊

I’m honestly so excited that it’s Autumn, mainly because my birthday is in less then a month and I’m a tiny bit excited for it but also because it’s such a cosy, happy, fresh season. I just love the colours and the feel for Autumn so much plus the fact that it’s Halloween in about a month which I’m really looking forward to!

At the weekend I think I’m going into town to get some revision supplies for my mocks in a couple of weeks but whilst I’m down there I’m probably going to pick up some candles and maybe a jumper because I saw some really nice ones in New Look and Primark the other day so I’m probably going to ask for them for my birthday 😊. Honestly I’m probably going to get a hot chocolate from costa as well because ngl they are sooooo good especially when it’s cold outside β˜•οΈ

Another thing I’m so do excited for is a dance show that I’m in later this week! It’s the dress rehearsal on Thursday and then we perform Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The dances that I’m doing ( in order ) are: Ballet which we are doing Cinderella in, Theatre Craft which we are doing the can can, Tap which is Billy Elliot, rock and roll which is an American Diner scene and the cheerleading 😊 I’ve just finished trying all of my costumes on and my favourite is probably my rock and roll because I wear a pastel yellow poodle skirt and it’s so cute!

So basically I have a lot going on this month and next but all of it is exciting ( except from the mock exams but we can ignore them for a minute ) and I’m really looking forward to it!

What are your plans for Autumn?

Where I’ve been

Hiiiii! how is everyone? So as you probably know it’s the summer holidays and these past 2 and a half weeks I’ve just been relaxing and taking a break from revising. I’ve also not posted on here for a few months but to be totally honest, I just didn’t have any motivationΒ  a tΒ  a l l. I just really didn’t want to post anything that I just putting up for the sake of it and that wasn’t thought out properly. However when I started this blog I knew that there would be periods of time like this butΒ now that I have had time off and relaxed I’m ready to get back into things and start posting regularly again.

So now that I’m back from hibernating I really want to make aΒ long list of all the things that you would all like to see on my blog. I’m going to be writing some down but I would love it so so much if you called just comment some to add to the list? This way i can post regularly without running out of ideas. it can be anything beauty related, fashion, advise, reviews whatever really!

Anyways I will be posting again tomorrow as this isn’t really a proper post and thank you all for reading!

Guide to being motivated

So today I’m going to be writing about how to get motivated and productive when your having one of those days when you are struggling to get things done. The other day I was making a list of things to help get you into a productive mood and thought it would be a good idea to share some ideas 😊

β€’Go for a walk

I find that going on a walk really helps if you are feeling unproductive. Even if it’s just a walk around the garden, the fresh air gives you time to think about the things you need to get done. For example if you had homework, go outside and think about how you are going to get it done and then when you come back inside you can get on with your jobs πŸ’•

Listen to music

I love finding new playlists and music to listen to especially when I’m trying to get motivated. I makes me in a much better mood and time goes a lot quicker if you are playing your favourite songs whilst doing jobs. What I also loveee to do is to search up a playlist made for what you are doing. So if you need to do a work out if you search up ‘work out mix’ or something along those lines, there will be a huge list of songs purposely put together for that ❣️

Turn off your phone

This happens to me alllll the time where I’ll be about to turn off my phone and do some revision or something and I’ll get a notification, so I go on that app and get sidetracked for another hour. But I find it a lot easier if you put you phone on silent and put it on a shelf or somewhere you can’t just easily reach it and get distracted again. This way you can do your jobs or whatever it is you need to do without social media distracting you πŸ˜‚πŸ’–

Ive recently been doing stretches/yoga before breakfast in the morning just to wake me up and get me ready for the day and I actually really love doing it! But it doesn’t have to be in the morning, if you do a few stretches before doing the jobs it really helps the blood flow to your brain ( I think I’m not a scientist πŸ˜‚) making it easier to focus and pay attention.

Think about your jobs

I know it may sound weird but when you first think about everything you need to get done you want to do anything you can to avoid it but I find the more you think it through and think about how you are going to do it, the idea of it isn’t so bad. I don’t know if that makes any sense but I really think it works πŸ˜‚πŸ’“

So they’re just a few tips that I find help me become motivated! I hope you enjoyed reading them and that they help you become more motivated πŸ’“ thank you for reading!

Spring playlist!

So in today’s post I’m going to show you all the songs that I have been listening to on repeat all spring. Obviously I can’t show you every single song I’ve listened to but I will just pick out a few that I like the most and I’ll try and give a variety of songs 😊

‘No Excuses’ by Meghan Trainer

OMGGGG I love this song! I have been listening to this song so so much recently! I like a lot of Meghan Trainers songs but this is by far my favourite. It’s really catchy and got a fun, happy feel to it that I love πŸ’•.

‘Low key’ by Mabel

Recently I have started to listen to a few more songs by Mabel and I have been loving so many of her songs I actually don’t think there’s one I don’t like! But I chose ‘low key’ because I think this is one of my favourites and it’s a good spring song ❀️.

‘These days’ by Rudimental feat: Jess Glynne, Macklemore and Dan Caplen

This is a really uplifting and easy to listen to song and I love how there is so many people singing in it. It’s definitely one of my favourite songs at the minute and I have loved listening to it 😊.

‘Playinwitme’ by Kyle feat Kehlani

I really like this song as it’s so catchy and when you listen to it you just start humming along to it. I also love lots of Kehlani’s songs but this is one of my favourites that she’s done along with ‘advice’ and ‘escape’ ❣️.

‘The Writer’by Ellie Goulding

Omg this song is so good! I hadn’t heard it in years and then it came in my recommendations on Spotify and I can’t stop listening to it. I love singing along to the chorus when I’m doing my makeup in the morning ( my family probably have to wear earbuds when I do πŸ˜‚).It’s a very simple song but I love everything about it and you should definitely listen to it!

So there is a few of the songs I have been listening to so far in spring! If you haven’t heard any of these before I definitely recommend listening to them as they are all so good πŸ’–.what songs have you been listening to recently? I’d love to know in the comments 😊

Thanks for reading!

Revision tips and tricks!

So today I’m going to be doing revision tips and tricks (if you hadn’t already guessed by the titleπŸ˜‚). I have seen a few people do this and think it’s a really good idea especially as there are mock exams and GCSEs *shudders* just round the corner. I know when other people do this I find them really helpful so I hope you find these just as helpful 😊

1.Use colours and Diagrams

I find that when I highlight certain facts it’s sooooo much easier to revise from and find later on when I look back on it. Also if you include fun diagrams it can help you remember facts easier then if you were revising from a chunk of text. I like using coloured gel pens to write in just so it doesn’t look as boringπŸ˜‚.

2. Reward yourself

I do this when I’m revising for an important test and I find it really helps ( I definitely don’t do this as an excuse to eat more πŸ˜‚). For example if you had a textbook, work through a couple of pages and then have a treat like a chocolate bar or a lollipop. This might not be the healthiest way of revising but it does encourage you to work more and faster!

3. Revise with friends

Plan to meet your friends at a coffee shop/cafe where it’s not too busy, the library or even at one of your houses. This way you still get to see and spend time with your friends but you still get your homework done! But you have to make sure not to just chat and actually do some revision πŸ˜‚.

4. Use nice notebooks

I don’t know about you but I love notebooks especially cute, fun one. You don’t have to get expensive ones either! The ones in the picture were from Asda and were, like, Β£2.50 for three?! You can also get nice ones from Wilkos, Primark and The Works. I love jotting down notes and revision stuff in them and they look really nice on your desk πŸ˜‚

So I know that these aren’t normal revision tips but I hope they come in handy and I hope you enjoyed reading this post! πŸ’•

February favourites!

So first, how are we a quarter way through this year already! That’s crazy, I honestly think it’s gone so fast. So because it’s the start of a whole new month I thought that I would do a February favourites post so I can tell you 6 different things that I was enjoying throughout February 😊

Hope you all enjoy!

So the first thing that I loved last month was the Rimmel London ‘Kate’ lipstick in the number 07. I have had this lipstick for a few months but haven’t got round to actually using it until a couple of weeks ago but it’s a really lovely orangey redish colour ❀️

The next thing that I loved in February was the Revlon ultra volume mascara which I’ve been obsessed with! It makes your eyelashes so long and curls them reeeaaaalllyyy well. I will definitely be getting another when this one runs out!

So another thing that I loved in February was the Garnier eye makeup remover. I honestly don’t know how I would get through life without it πŸ˜‚I did mention it in my skincare routine so if you wanna read more about it you can read that 😊

The last skincare item is the body shop lip balm. I have the watermelon one but there are soooo many other flavours. I usually use this before bed and it keeps my lips really hydrated all through to the morning. I absolutely love using it and it smells amazing too πŸ˜‚πŸ‰

So moving on from skincare care there are a couple of books that I loved reading in February. The first one is called ‘Darkmere’ and it’s by the author Helen Maslin. I don’t wanna say too much but it’s basically about a castle and you follow the lives of two girls one in the modern time and one in the Victorian times. It’s a very heart-stopping, unique book and I really recommend it! The second book is called ‘The Start Of Me And You’ by Emery Lord and I love this book so much! I honestly couldn’t put it down the whole time I was reading it! I loved the way it was written and I will definitely be buying more from that author 😊

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you all enjoyed hearing me ramble on about stuff I liked last month πŸ˜‚πŸ’•

Skin care routine!

Hiiiii! So in today’s post I’m going to be going through my everyday skin care routine! I’m mainly doing this because on instagram I did a poll between a skin care routine or a book review and more people voted for this soooooo yeah πŸ˜‚

Also before we start I just want to say that my skin care isn’t very exciting but my skin has got a lot clearer since I’ve used these products so I definitely recommend all of them 😊 x

Ok so first to remove my makeup I use a face wipe as I feel it’s a lot easier and quicker to use these and you can get loads of different kinds for different skin. I’m not fussed what brand they are and I’ve had Primark, Simple, Asda but they all work the same. I then use my Garnier eye makeup remover which I love because it just dissolves your makeup so well even waterproof makeup so I really love this πŸ‘Œ

I then use my Nivea 2 in 1 cleanser and toner just to get off any excess makeup and to cleanse and tone my face (obviously ). I love this so so much and when I use it, my skin always feels sooooo soft!

so the next thing I do is use some sort of facial rinse off soap. I’ve sort of been swapping between the Clinique rinse off foaming cleanser and the Soap And Glory vitamin C facial wash. I absolutely love both which is why I’m showing both of them and I really recommend both of them!

so the last thing I use is the Nivea soft moisturiser (yes I’m aware the one in the picture is not in English but oh well πŸ˜‚). I really like this moisturiser and I’ve been using it for about 2 years. What I really like is that my skin is quite oily so sometimes other moisturisers can be to heavy. But this one still makes you skin feel hydrated without making is feel greasy and oily.

So that’s my night skin routine hope you enjoyed it and comment what you use as I sort of want to switch mine up a bit 😊thanks for reading,
